restoring the balance
“We are all interdependent with each other.
The planet earth, when left alone without disruptions, is a self-regulating system. Nature is capable of correcting imbalances.
The same situation applies to us as human beings. We have an inbuilt capability to maintain equilibrium and resist disease.
But our natural self-regulating tendency has limitations. If the imbalance or pollution inside us or in the environment becomes excessive, problems arise. Inside and outside are interactive, so when we reduce the internal and external causes, our natural balancing forces start to operate and restore us again.”

bearing witness
Go to a place that you love or is special to you and spend some time there. Record a video or soundscape, write a poem or draw/paint a representation. Experience the energy of this place. Contemplate what is thriving and what is vulnerable there? Who and what is safe there and what needs protection and care?
Thank you to Adam Lobel for this practice.
