Seeing the World Fresh

Spring peepers helped me viscerally vision a future where we all, humans and non-humans, are equal. Alone we are so small, yet so huge together. In this future we sing in harmony.

My C4C collaborator Ann Rosenthal and I co-wrote this essay together in the spring of 2020, after PennFuture announced that we two are among the 11 Celebrating Women in Conservation Awardees.
